About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity/Application Security Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role for a local candidate with strong coding and security testing expertise. Key Responsibilities • Conduct code reviews and implement secure coding practices • Build security test harnesses and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) • Validate vulnerabilities and remediation strategies • Perform threat modeling using frameworks like OWASP Top 10, STRIDE, and PASTA • Review and validate automated/AI-generated code fixes Requirements • 12 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Application Security • Strong coding proficiency in C++, Java, or Python • Expertise in secure coding practices and code reviews • Experience with vulnerability validation, remediation, and threat modeling • Deep understanding of CVE, CWE, OWASP Top 10, STRIDE, and PASTA • Ability to work with distributed/microservice architectures
