About the Role We are looking for a Java EDI Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining EDI systems, particularly in healthcare data exchange. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain EDI systems using Java 8 or above • Work with healthcare data-exchange workflows and EDI transactions • Analyze and resolve EDI mapping, validation, and transformation issues • Collaborate with team members using GitHub for source-code management Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field • 2+ years of hands-on EDI development experience, including 278 A, I, or N transactions • Healthcare-industry experience and understanding of healthcare data-exchange workflows • Strong hands-on development experience with Java 8 or above, object-oriented programming, exception handling, and debugging • Experience with Oracle 19c, SQL, PL/SQL, relational data models, and query-performance optimization • Practical experience using GitHub for source-code management, collaboration, and code-review workflows • Experience analyzing EDI mapping, validation, transformation, and end-to-end integration defects • Working knowledge of REST or SOAP services, XML/JSON processing, batch jobs, logging, and application monitoring • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and technical-documentation skills
