About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Kafka Engineer to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in Java development, Kafka administration, Confluent Cloud, and event-driven microservices. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement solutions using Java and Kafka • Administer Apache Kafka and Confluent Cloud environments • Develop Kafka Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams • Configure and manage Kafka Connect (Source/Sink Connectors) • Work with Schema Registry and Cluster Linking • Implement Kafka Security, ACLs, and RBAC • Monitor, govern, and troubleshoot Kafka systems • Contribute to cloud computing and microservices architecture Requirements • 14+ years of experience in Java development • Strong expertise in Kafka administration and Confluent Cloud • Experience with Kafka Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams • Knowledge of Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Cluster Linking • Understanding of Kafka Security, ACLs, and RBAC • Experience with Kafka Monitoring, Governance, and Troubleshooting • Background in Cloud Computing and Microservices
