About the Role We are looking for a Java Production Support Engineer to join our team in Miami, FL. This role involves providing L2/L3 support for Java-based production applications and resolving production issues. Key Responsibilities • Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based production applications • Monitor application health, triage incidents and drive root cause analysis • Debug and fix production issues in Java/Spring code and deploy hotfixes • Analyze logs and write SQL queries to investigate data issues • Manage incidents, problems and changes through ServiceNow • Take part in an on-call rotation, including some weekends and off-hours • Work with development, QA and business teams to resolve issues within SLA Requirements • 6+ years in Java development and/or production support • Strong Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices • Strong SQL (Oracle or PostgreSQL) • Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting • Monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana or ELK • ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira
