About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to join our team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on building and maintaining backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot • Build and optimize REST APIs, microservices, and data integration solutions • Develop and manage database connectivity and complex SQL queries • Work with streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka • Translate business and user requirements into scalable technical solutions • Debug, test, and optimize applications to ensure performance and reliability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Support release management, deployments, and post-deployment activities Requirements • 7+ years of experience in Java development and API development • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot • Advanced SQL and database management skills • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture • Knowledge of data streaming technologies, especially Apache Kafka • Experience with application debugging, testing, and deployment • Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure Good to Have • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Cloud Storage • Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
