About the Role We are seeking a Java Tech Lead for a long-term contract position in Omaha, NE. This role requires extensive Java development experience and technical leadership skills. Key Responsibilities • Lead technical development using Java and Spring frameworks • Design and implement microservices architecture and REST APIs • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Oversee SQL and NoSQL database implementations • Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and build tools • Containerize applications with Docker and Kubernetes Requirements • 15+ years of Java development experience • Expertise in Core Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA • Strong background in microservices and REST API development • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) • Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL databases, and Kafka • Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes • Technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills • Banking/Financial Services experience preferred • Active LinkedIn profile and local availability in Omaha, NE required
