About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Kotlin/JVM Software Engineer to join the Financial Insights and Tools team at American Express on a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement backend systems using Java/Kotlin/JVM technologies • Work with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis • Utilize cloud platforms and container orchestration tools • Develop CI/CD pipelines and monitor production systems Requirements • 8+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin/JVM technologies • Strong hands-on experience with backend development • Experience with databases, cloud platforms, and container orchestration • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring tools • Prior American Express experience is mandatory • Must be able to provide a passport number for submission
