About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Databricks Application Developer to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. This role requires 10+ years of experience in building data applications and dashboards, with at least 2 years of hands-on Databricks experience. Key Responsibilities • Build data applications and dashboards using Databricks • Develop and optimize Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog • Create Databricks AI/BI Dashboards or Databricks Apps • Implement RBAC, row-level, and column-level security • Work with fiscal calendars, fiscal quarters, and custom date ranges • Develop data visualization and dashboard UX • Perform data reconciliation Requirements • 10+ years of experience in building data applications and dashboards • At least 2 years of hands-on Databricks experience • Strong experience with Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog • Hands-on experience with Databricks AI/BI Dashboards or Databricks Apps • Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript or similar frontend frameworks • Experience implementing RBAC, row-level, and column-level security • Knowledge of fiscal calendars, fiscal quarters, and custom date ranges • Strong data visualization, dashboard UX, and data reconciliation skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
