About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Integrations Engineer to own customer integrations from initial discovery and technical scoping through implementation, data synchronization, deployment, and go-live. This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who can independently build, troubleshoot, and operate customer-facing integrations while communicating technical solutions and trade-offs effectively. Key Responsibilities • Lead customer integration discovery, technical scoping, and requirements gathering • Design, develop, and implement customer integrations using Python or Node.js • Build and maintain REST API integrations and event-driven architectures • Develop ETL workflows and scalable data pipelines • Work with AWS cloud services and data synchronization processes • Troubleshoot data-quality issues, integration failures, and synchronization problems • Own implementations from initial technical discussions through production deployment and go-live • Collaborate with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver reliable integration solutions Requirements • 5–15 years of experience across integration engineering, software engineering, data engineering, or hands-on solutions engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Python or Node.js • Solid understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and AWS • Experience developing ETL processes and data pipelines • Proven experience personally scoping customer requirements and delivering integrations through deployment • Strong troubleshooting skills across data quality, integration failures, and synchronization issues • Excellent customer-facing communication and technical problem-solving skills Preferred Experience • Databricks • Scientific software platforms • Chemicals, materials science, or life sciences industry experience
