About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications for a banking technology environment. This role requires strong technical leadership and Java development expertise. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of enterprise Java applications • Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices • Participate in application architecture, technical design, and code reviews • Work with relational and NoSQL databases • Develop unit tests and integration tests to maintain application quality • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers • Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance • Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, and release management • Mentor developers and promote coding standards and best practices • Follow secure coding practices and enterprise development standards Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Java • Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend application development • Experience with SQL and relational databases • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to lead technical discussions and guide development teams • Must be willing to work in Charlotte, NC, according to the client's onsite requirements • Must be eligible for W2 employment
