About the Role We are looking for a Lead Java Developer to join our team for a contract position. This role requires strong technical leadership and hands-on development experience. Key Responsibilities • Lead development teams and mentor junior and mid-level developers • Contribute to project estimation and planning processes • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and project managers • Guide and mentor development teams • Ensure adherence to software security principles and best practices Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development • 3+ years of experience leading development teams • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field • Proficiency in Java technologies and multiple programming languages • In-depth knowledge of software design patterns • Deep understanding of relational and document databases • Strong SQL skills • Understanding of cloud computing platforms and services • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changes in project requirements or technology • Awareness of software security principles and best practices
