About the Role We are seeking a Lead Java Developer for a 3-year contract position in NYC, NY with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week). This role requires extensive experience in Java/J2EE development and leadership on complex projects. Key Responsibilities • Lead development of a Government Integrated Eligibility System (IES) supporting Health & Human Services programs • Apply OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles in development • Provide technical leadership on complex projects Requirements • 15+ years of total experience required • 7+ years of Java/J2EE development experience • 2+ years in a Developer Leadership role • 6+ months of experience with a Government Integrated Eligibility System (IES) • Experience supporting Health & Human Services programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, or Child Support
