About the Role We are seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer for a contract-to-hire position with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This role requires strong proficiency in Java and experience with modern web technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks • Build and maintain microservices-based applications • Develop and manage REST APIs with proper versioning and security • Work with SQL databases and ensure data integrity • Implement asynchronous processing using Kafka Requirements • Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 or later, including collections, multithreading, concurrency, exception handling, and JVM fundamentals • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate • Hands-on experience building and maintaining microservices-based applications • Strong understanding of REST APIs, API versioning, authentication, authorization, and API integration patterns • Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
