About the Role We are seeking a Lead Python Engineer to join our team at DataArt. This role involves developing and maintaining production-grade Python applications and APIs, with a focus on investment-related applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain production-grade Python applications and APIs • Modernize existing Python and Excel-based applications • Work with SQL databases and AWS cloud platforms • Build data analytics and investment-related applications • Implement automated testing, CI/CD and code reviews • Collaborate directly with portfolio managers and business stakeholders Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on Python development • ETF or Investment domain experience is mandatory • Experience in asset management, investment banking or capital markets • Strong SQL and AWS knowledge • Experience with APIs, Git, testing and CI/CD • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • Willingness to work onsite 3 days per week
