About the Role We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to join our team across multiple locations in Latin America. This role involves leading QA automation efforts and mentoring team members. Key Responsibilities • Lead QA automation initiatives and mentor junior engineers • Design and implement automated tests using Python, Pytest, and Playwright • Perform REST API testing with Postman and performance testing with JMeter/Locust • Manage test cases using TestRail and implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab • Develop mobile automation tests using Appium and BrowserStack Requirements • 5–7 years of QA Automation experience • Strong expertise in Python, Pytest, and Playwright • Experience with REST API testing, performance testing, and test management tools • CI/CD pipeline experience with GitLab • Knowledge of microservices, AWS-hosted applications, and Agile methodologies • Previous experience leading or mentoring QA engineers • Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and contract testing
