🚨 Now Hiring: Lead QA Tester (Hybrid Onsite) 🚨 We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Tester to support Vital Records and Public Health applications for a state government client. This is a hybrid onsite role with a strong focus on leadership, automation, and enterprise-level testing. 📌 Position Details: 🔹 Job Title: Lead QA Tester (Software Test Analyst 5) 📍 Location: Lansing, MI ⏳ Duration: 12 Months 🎯 Interview Process: In-person interview only Candidates must be available onsite for interview 🏢 Work Model: Hybrid Onsite (Onsite from Day 1) 2 days per week onsite ❌ No remote-only option 📍 Candidate Restrictions: Local candidates only Must be located within 60 miles of Lansing, MI at time of submission 🔍 Role Overview This role functions as the Lead Testing Analyst supporting Vital Records (MDHHS) and other Public Health systems, including EDRS, BRS, and VERA. The consultant will lead QA efforts, coordinate testing teams, and ensure high-quality delivery across functional, integration, load, and automated testing initiatives. 🧩 Key Responsibilities ✅ Lead and coordinate daily testing activities for QA teams ✅ Prepare testing estimates, plans, and test artifacts ✅ Review requirements and user stories for testability and standards compliance ✅ Execute and manage functional, system integration, UAT, and load testing ✅ Track, manage, and drive defects to closure ✅ Provide regular QA status updates, metrics, and reports to management ✅ Maintain test cases, plans, and documentation in Azure DevOps ✅ Create and execute automated test scripts (preferably using Provar) ✅ Mentor and guide QA team members on best practices ✅ Participate in Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and lessons learned 🛠 Required Skills & Experience ✔️ 8+ years leading QA, functional, and system integration testing (Public Health preferred) ✔️ 8+ years coordinating User Acceptance Testing ✔️ 5+ years managing test logs, defect logs, and prioritization ✔️ 5+ years mentoring QA team members ✔️ 5+ years working with DevOps or similar QA management tools ✔️ 3+ years with automation tools (Provar, Selenium, SmartBear, etc.) ✔️ Strong experience with test closure documentation, QA metrics, and maintenance transitions 🤝 Vendor Partners: To receive future direct client requirements and ensure faster collaboration, please ask your consultants to fill in their details using the form below: 👉 [Upgrade to PRO to see link] #HiringNow #LeadQATester #QALead #HybridJobs #MichiganJobs #PublicHealthIT #AutomationTesting #Provar #Selenium #StateClient #OnsiteInterview #LocalCandidatesOnly
