About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to help migrate an existing Mendix-based auction platform to a modern, cloud-native architecture using React, TypeScript, and AWS serverless technologies. This role requires strong hands-on development experience and collaboration with the existing team. Key Responsibilities • Lead full-stack development and contribute to the migration from Mendix to a modern AWS-based platform • Design and develop scalable React-based applications and TypeScript backend services • Build and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway • Implement secure authentication and authorization using Amazon Cognito • Develop efficient database solutions using PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL • Address concurrency and race conditions in real-time auction and bidding workflows • Optimize application performance through query tuning, indexing, caching, and connection pooling • Troubleshoot AWS Lambda cold starts and improve serverless deployment strategies • Collaborate closely with the existing team and contribute to technical design decisions Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, S3, and Cognito • Experience designing and developing REST APIs using TypeScript and NestJS or similar frameworks • Proven understanding of concurrent transactions and race-condition handling in bidding or other high-concurrency systems • Strong PostgreSQL performance tuning and database optimization skills • Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka/MSK is highly desirable • Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and work effectively with a distributed team
