About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Snowflake Developer for a remote contract opportunity. This role requires 7–10 years of experience and involves designing scalable Snowflake data solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design scalable Snowflake data solutions and optimize performance and costs • Develop and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for data loading and transformation • Build and automate CI/CD pipelines for seamless Snowflake deployments • Implement Snowflake security best practices and manage access controls • Configure storage and compute resources for optimized data processing • Collaborate with business SMEs throughout requirements gathering and solution design Requirements • Valid and active LinkedIn profile • B.E./B.Tech or an engineering degree is mandatory • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data solutions • Strong experience with dbt • Expertise in SQL development, stored procedures, data modeling, and performance tuning • Understanding of Snowflake security concepts and role-based access control (RBAC) • Working knowledge of one or more of the following: Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, Time Travel and Cloning, Snowpark • Good communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for cloud-based data solutions • Experience integrating Snowflake with analytics and reporting tools • Knowledge of financial markets, especially mutual funds and investment funds
