About the Role We are hiring for two engineering leadership positions: Lead Software Engineer – Embedded Systems (Remote) and SRE Support Lead / Manager (Denver, Colorado, onsite). Both roles require strong technical leadership and hands-on expertise. Key Responsibilities • Lead engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers • Develop embedded software for Wi-Fi and networking systems • Integrate firmware components and work with Wi-Fi silicon vendors • Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines • Manage multiple engineering teams across regions and time zones • Oversee 24/7 follow-the-sun SRE operations • Drive incident response, escalation procedures, and operational reporting • Improve release reliability through CI/CD and automation Requirements • 8+ years in software engineering, embedded systems, or gateway development • Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills • Experience with OpenWrt, RDK-B, hostapd, and mac80211 • Deep knowledge of Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, 802.11 protocols, mesh networking, and network stack development • Hands-on experience with Wireshark and RF debugging • Experience with EasyMesh, band steering, and 802.11k/v/r roaming • Proven technical leadership and team management skills • 5+ years managing multiple engineering teams across regions • Experience leading offshore teams and coordinating cross-functional teams • Strong understanding of SRE, DevOps, and 24/7 operations • Hands-on knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud architectures • Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures • Expertise in monitoring, instrumentation, and distributed systems • Understanding of SLI/SLO, MTTR/MTTA, Golden Signals, and RED metrics • Experience with incident management and CI/CD automation • Proven ability to mentor engineers and manage performance
