#JOB_DESCRIPTION:
The M365 DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation and CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft 365 services and related cloud infrastructure.
This role ensures seamless integration of DevOps practices with M365 workloads, improving deployment speed, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Automate provisioning, configuration, and updates using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
Manage Azure resources supporting M365 (e.g., Azure AD, security policies, compliance configurations).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates.
Set up monitoring dashboards and alerts for M365 services.
Build and maintain M365 components (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Intune).
Provide on-call support for critical incidents and ensure quick resolution.
Apply Microsoft security and compliance guidelines across M365 workloads.
Integrate DevOps pipelines with security scanning tools ( future scope)
Work closely with product owners, architects, and EUC teams to deliver sprint goals.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, demos).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune).
Hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, Github
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with Terraform/ARM templates for IaC ( optional)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure mandatory)
Understanding of security best practices and compliance in M365 environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications such as AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or MS-721 (Teams Collaboration).
Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Grafana, Log Analytics).
Exposure to AI-driven tools like GitHub Copilot for code optimization.
