Realtor.com is hiring a technical anchor for our new Operations Excellence org in Austin. We don’t need an incident responder, we need a Platform Builder. The Mission: - Golden Signals: Automate observability standards into the platform (Helm/IaC/OTel) so they work by default for 600+ engineers. No manual checks. - Deep-Dive: Find the "needle in the haystack" using Distributed Tracing and spans within our GraphQL Federation. - Resilience: Lead chaos experiments and game days to break things before they fail in production. - Modern Stack: Own the reliability of AWS (EKS/Fargate), Argo Rollouts, and Tyk API Gateways. The Bar: - 8+ years in SRE/Infrastructure; master of AWS (EKS, Fargate) and Kubernetes. - Strong programming in Python or Go for custom automation. - Systems-thinker obsessed with long-term sustainability and FinOps.
