About the Role We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in IBM z/OS automation, automation migration projects, and enterprise mainframe operations. Key Responsibilities • Support and implement mainframe automation solutions in IBM z/OS environments • Participate in migration projects from CA OPS/MVS to IBM Tivoli System Automation for z/OS • Support migration from CA Automation Point to IBM Systems Automation for Integrated Operations Management (SA IOM) • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation policies, rules, and operational procedures • Support high availability, system startup/shutdown processes, and operational efficiency • Collaborate with mainframe operations and automation teams on migration and implementation activities Requirements • 10+ years of Mainframe Operations/Support experience • Strong hands-on knowledge of IBM System Automation for z/OS (SA z/OS) • Experience with NetView for z/OS • Hands-on experience with TSO/ISPF and JCL • Strong REXX programming skills • Experience with z/OS Automation Migration Projects • Knowledge of Automation Policy Database (PDB) • Experience supporting mainframe automation environments • Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills • IBM Z system operations and automation • System startup/shutdown automation • SMP/E experience • Knowledge of CA OPS/MVS and CA Automation Point • Experience in highly automated IBM Z environments
