About the Role We are looking for a Mainframe Automation professional to join our team for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role involves working in a mainframe operations environment to provide operational, service, consultancy, or support. Key Responsibilities • Implement and use mainframe automation products • Work with TSO and ISPF • Utilize JCL skills • Write REXX scripts • Work with System Automation Policy Database (PDB) • Participate in z/OS Automation Migration Projects Requirements • 5+ years of experience in a mainframe operations environment • Strong written and communication skills • Ability to use TSO and ISPF • JCL skills • Ability to write REXX • Working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB) • Experience with NetView for z/OS and System Automation for z/OS Preferred Skills • Knowledge of other Z software, including system operation, configuration, and automation • Knowledge of z/OS system startup and shutdown • Experience with SMP/E • Knowledge of products that compete against IBM products • Experience with fully automated system configurations on IBM Z
