About the Role We are urgently hiring a Mainframe Developer for a 6+ month contract role with hybrid work options in Austin, TX or Southlake, TX. This is a W2 role requiring 10+ years of experience. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain mainframe applications • Work with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and other mainframe technologies • Collaborate with team members on modernization projects • Support and enhance existing mainframe systems Requirements • 10+ years of experience in mainframe development • Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, and Datacom • Experience with SQL, SQLServer, and stored procedures • Familiarity with IBM MQ, Kafka, MongoDB, and other technologies • Must be local to Texas • Comfortable with onsite interviews Benefits • Competitive compensation for a 6+ month contract • Opportunity to work on modernization projects • Hybrid work environment
