About the Role
The Nebraska Department of Transportation is seeking an Intermediate Mainframe Developer to support and enhance legacy systems that maintain Nebraska’s highways.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and maintain legacy COBOL and CICS applications
• Write DB2 SQL, QMF queries, and tables
• Work with JCL, job scheduling, and XPEDITER on IBM z/OS
• Join an Agile team and collaborate with business users
Requirements
• COBOL and CICS (both required) with COBOL coded within the last year
• DB2, QMF, JCL and job scheduling experience
• Bachelor’s in CS or 5+ years of development experience
Bonus Skills
• MicroFocus COBOL, App Master Builder
• C#/ASP.NET, SQL Server, SSRS
• Highway inventory systems, mainframe migration
