About the Role We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining healthcare claims applications using mainframe technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, test, debug, and maintain healthcare claims applications using mainframe technologies • Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant technical solutions • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and conduct code reviews • Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities Requirements • Strong experience in mainframe application development using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ • Experience with healthcare claims adjudication processes and related business workflows • Knowledge of code migration, release management, package creation, code promotion, post-deployment validation, and backout procedures • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and production support skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business, QA, technology, and offshore teams • Experience working in Agile development environments
