About the Role Arkkosoft is seeking a Mobile Developer to join their team in Costa Rica. This role involves developing and optimizing cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android using technologies like React Native. Key Responsibilities • Develop and optimize cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android using React Native or equivalent technologies • Build features for appointment scheduling, payment history, health questionnaires, push notifications, and center location • Define mobile architecture, reusable components, state management, coding standards, and performance benchmarks • Integrate REST APIs, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, third-party SDKs, and AI-powered backend services • Implement security controls, including certificate pinning, secure storage, biometrics, and healthcare data privacy • Maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, device testing, and App Store/Google Play releases • Monitor app performance, crash-free sessions, startup latency, and production reliability • Use AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code while maintaining code quality • Collaborate with UX, backend, and product teams to deliver secure, accessible, intuitive experiences Requirements • 5+ years of mobile development experience with production iOS and/or Android apps • React Native and/or native development with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java • JavaScript/TypeScript, Redux, Zustand, or React Query • Experience with APIs, authentication, mobile security, automated testing, and CI/CD tools such as Fastlane or GitHub Actions • Knowledge of mobile UX, accessibility, responsive design, and performance optimization • Familiarity with AI-assisted development, Core ML/ML Kit, and mobile observability • Recent hands-on engineering experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
