Multilingual Localization Specialist

Looking for: 🇮🇩 Indonesian + 🇲🇾 Malay linguists for an AI-first app localization setup I’m opening two collaborations for Indonesian and Malay! 🎇 This is not a “translate a lot of strings every week” kind of job. Think of it more as: helping define how the language should work inside a product, then using that to guide and improve AI output. ✍ What you’d actually do: - create the language backbone: glossary + conventions + tone rules + do/don’t examples - run quality review on AI-assisted UI translations (ideally via screenshots / flows, not just raw strings) - identify recurring issues and propose fixes that improve the system, not just one string 📱 This will feel natural if you have: - experience localizing apps / software - a good ear for UI microcopy (simple, human, trustworthy) - comfort with MTPE / AI-assisted workflows (pragmatic editing, not “literary” translation) It’s well-scoped, with clear deliverables and real responsibility on the language side.
