About the Role We are actively looking for an experienced .NET Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with the State of New York. Key Responsibilities • Develop complex N-Tier web applications • Implement healthcare applications with HIPAA/PHI data handling • Maintain and interpret VB6 code • Work with Oracle Database and PL/SQL • Design and implement RESTful APIs • Analyze and implement complex business requirements Requirements • 12+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Visual Studio • Strong experience with frontend technologies (HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS) • Expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers and Indexes • Experience with SOA, WCF, SOAP and RESTful APIs • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core MVC • VB6 code interpretation and maintenance skills • Unit Testing, Git and TFS experience • Healthcare application development with HIPAA/PHI data knowledge
