About the Role We are seeking a .NET Developer for a 12-month contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement and local candidates only. Key Responsibilities • Develop applications using the Microsoft .NET/Azure development stack • Lead application development initiatives • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices • Utilize C#, .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and other technologies • Work with databases including Microsoft SQL Server • Implement CI/CD processes and version control with Git Requirements • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET/Azure development stack • 5+ years of experience in Application Development • 2+ years of experience as an Application Development Lead • Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Blazor • Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience (SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, Reporting Services) • Experience with Azure • Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices • Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD • Experience with Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code • Knowledge of SDLC models and software design patterns • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools • Experience with third-party integrations and APIs • Experience with Accela or OpenGov is preferred • Local government experience is preferred but not required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
