About the Role We are seeking a .NET Developer for a 7-month contract position in New York, NY. This role requires physical presence in the office Monday to Friday and involves developing scalable web applications using .NET technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop backend systems using C# and ASP.NET MVC • Build robust, high-performance applications with .NET Core • Implement object-relational mapping using Entity Framework • Design and optimize SQL queries for SQL Server 2019 • Create RESTful APIs and work with SOAP web services • Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Build Single Page Applications using Angular 8 • Create and deploy reports using SSRS and Crystal Reports • Apply design patterns and MVC architecture principles • Implement unit testing and TDD practices • Use Git for version control and collaboration Requirements • Strong experience in C# for backend development • Proven experience with ASP.NET MVC • Deep understanding of .NET Core • Experience with Entity Framework (EF Core or EF 6) • Experience with SQL Server 2019 • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and SOAP web services • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience with Angular 8 • Experience with SSRS and Crystal Reports • Understanding of MVC Architecture and design patterns • Experience with unit testing frameworks • Proficiency in Git for version control Benefits • Contract position with possible extension based on performance • Opportunity to work on government projects
