About the Role We are looking for a Network & Micro-Segmentation Security Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing micro-segmentation policies across various environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and optimize micro-segmentation policies across AWS, Azure, and data center environments. • Perform application dependency mapping, rule-set creation, and security policy enforcement. • Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls using Panorama. • Work with Illumio Core/Cloud or Guardicore (Akamai Segmentation). • Manage site-to-site VPNs, security profiles, whitelisting, and content filtering. • Monitor segmentation agent health, performance, and capacity. • Automate firewall and segmentation policy deployments using Python, Ansible, or Terraform. • Handle change management, traffic flow analysis, network troubleshooting, and incident resolution. • Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation for high-severity network escalations. Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on networking and network security experience. • 5+ years of global network architecture/design experience with Zero Trust segmentation principles. • Strong expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and security profiles. • Hands-on experience with Illumio Core/Cloud or Guardicore/Akamai Segmentation. • Strong AWS and Azure networking knowledge, including hybrid routing and cloud firewalling. • Experience with application dependency mapping and micro-segmentation policy creation.
