About the Role We are looking for an experienced Newgen Application Developer with strong expertise in Java technologies and the BFSI domain for an exciting remote contract opportunity. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement high-quality applications using the Newgen platform • Participate in coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and maintenance • Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver projects within timelines Requirements • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Newgen Development within the BFSI domain • Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL, and Oracle Database • Experience in Spring Boot, Java 17, BPM Solutions, and Enterprise Application Development • Strong understanding of banking processes, including Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, and Treasury • Experience in system integration, APIs, application architecture, and database query optimization • Hands-on experience in software development, unit testing, system testing, UAT, deployment, and production troubleshooting • Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall methodologies and technical documentation Preferred Qualifications • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science / IT • Experience working with commercial banks • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Experience with Newgen BPM Solutions and Trade Development
