About the Role We are looking for a Node.js Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves leading a ground-up rewrite of Node.js backend microservices and implementing REST APIs. Key Responsibilities • Lead a clean-slate, ground-up rewrite of Node.js backend microservices covering IV, SubQ, Transitions, and Admin modules • Design and implement REST APIs and OpenAPI contracts • Integrate Microsoft SQL Server and Redis caching • Implement SQS-based event handling • Follow and enforce secure coding standards and best practices • Lead and govern Pull Request (PR) reviews • Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, and engineering excellence Requirements • Strong expertise in Node.js (ES6+) and TypeScript • Hands-on experience with Express.js / NestJS • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST APIs • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server • Working knowledge of Redis / AWS ElastiCache • Experience with AWS SQS and event-driven architecture • Unit testing experience using Jest / Mocha
