As a detail-oriented individual with a passion for research and a good understanding of national and local geography, you will be working on a project aimed at enhancing the content and quality of digital maps used by millions worldwide. In this role, you will complete research and evaluation tasks in a web-based environment, verifying and comparing data, and determining the relevance and accuracy of information. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team making a difference in the world. To qualify, you should have full professional proficiency in English, be a resident in the United States for the last 2 consecutive years, and have familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in the United States. You should also be flexible to work across a diverse set of task types and have daily access to a broadband internet connection, computer, and relevant software. This is a part-time, long-term project, and your work will be subject to standard quality assurance checks. No previous professional experience is required, but you will need to pass a basic requirements assessment and a standard qualification exam.
