About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), enterprise firewall administration, network security engineering, and infrastructure protection. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto NGFWs • Manage Panorama for centralized firewall configuration and policy management • Configure security policies, NAT rules, zones, and access controls • Hands-on experience with App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID • Configure interfaces, virtual routers, routing policies, and security profiles • Perform firewall rule reviews, cleanup, optimization, and audits • Manage firewall upgrades, patches, backups, and HA deployments • Implement network segmentation using VLANs, VRFs, ACLs, and security zones • Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs • Implement IPS, threat prevention, antivirus, anti-spyware, and URL filtering • Configure SSL/TLS decryption and encrypted traffic inspection • Apply Zero Trust and least-privilege security principles Requirements • 13+ years of experience in network security engineering • Strong expertise in Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls • Experience with Panorama for centralized management • Knowledge of App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID • Experience with routing policies, security profiles, and VPNs • Understanding of network segmentation and security zones • Familiarity with IPS, threat prevention, and URL filtering • Experience with SSL/TLS decryption and encrypted traffic inspection • Knowledge of Zero Trust and least-privilege security principles
