About the Role We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join our team for a 12+ month contract. This role focuses on optimizing application performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute performance test strategies for web applications, APIs, and distributed systems • Identify bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, database, and network layers • Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, and architecture teams to resolve performance issues • Create performance dashboards and reports, track SLAs/SLOs/KPIs, and support capacity planning Requirements • 7+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing • Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace for APM, root cause analysis, and observability • Expertise in Apache JMeter for load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing • Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps • Hands-on experience with Google Lighthouse for web performance, accessibility, SEO, and best-practice audits • Strong understanding of performance metrics, log analysis, and bottleneck identification • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Shell Preferred • Kubernetes, containerized applications, cloud-native performance engineering • SRE practices and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Splunk
