About the Role We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join our team in Plano, TX. This role focuses on performance engineering for enterprise applications, with a 6+ month contract duration. Key Responsibilities • Lead performance engineering for enterprise applications • Establish performance baselines and workload models • Execute load and endurance testing • Identify bottlenecks across application, database and infrastructure layers • Perform capacity assessments and production readiness validation • Collaborate with development, database and platform engineering teams Requirements • 7+ years of Performance Engineering / Performance Testing experience • Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and Artillery / k6 / Gatling / Locust • UI performance testing using Playwright • Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) • Prometheus and Grafana monitoring • Load, Stress, and Endurance Testing • Workload Modeling, Capacity Planning & Performance Baselines • REST API Performance Testing • Strong SQL and PostgreSQL performance tuning • Python / JavaScript / Java scripting • Helm, Kustomize, kubectl, OpenShift CLI (oc) • GitOps / Argo CD • Local Plano, TX candidates only • Valid Driver’s License required • LinkedIn profile is mandatory • Must be available for 2 rounds of Face-to-Face interviews
