About the Role We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of a Kubernetes-based compute platform. This role focuses on building scalable infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud providers. Key Responsibilities • Lead the technical direction of high-impact cloud infrastructure initiatives • Architect, build, test, deploy, operate, and continuously improve the Kubernetes compute platform • Develop scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud providers • Mentor and guide geographically distributed engineering teams • Identify and implement improvements to reduce cloud platform operating costs • Align cross-functional teams on project objectives, timelines, and delivery commitments • Define technical priorities and contribute to the long-term cloud platform roadmap • Improve platform security, availability, performance, and developer experience Requirements • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience • 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering • 4+ years of deep experience with at least one major public cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure • Strong understanding of core cloud infrastructure services, such as AWS EC2 • Expert-level, hands-on Kubernetes engineering experience • Proven experience developing custom Kubernetes controllers • Strong experience designing and implementing Kubernetes admission webhooks • Demonstrated ability to define technical strategy and deliver large-scale, cross-team projects • Strong focus on platform efficiency, reliability, quality, and developer experience
