About the Role We are looking for a Platform Security Engineer with strong DevSecOps and cybersecurity engineering experience, preferably in federal or defense environments. Key Responsibilities • Implement cybersecurity solutions in AWS and Kubernetes environments • Develop secure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code • Conduct security automation and vulnerability remediation • Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and other security frameworks • Perform security tool evaluation and container scanning Requirements • 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience with DevSecOps in federal or defense environments • 3+ years of software engineering experience using Python, TypeScript, or Bash • 2+ years implementing cybersecurity solutions in AWS and Kubernetes • Experience with IaC/CaC, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC • Knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, and security automation • Experience with Terraform, policy-as-code, and secure CI/CD pipeline development • Understanding of NIST SP 800-53, RMF, eMASS, STIG Manager, STIG Viewer, and SCAP tools • Understanding of Zero Trust, threat-based cybersecurity frameworks, and AI/ML security best practices • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance • High School Diploma or GED Benefits • Contract to Hire opportunity • Potential for long-term employment in a federal or defense environment
