About the Role
We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer / Controls Programmer to support custom industrial machinery, new machine development, retrofits, commissioning, and field service projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and motion control programs
• Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, industrial networks, and safety systems
• Maintain controls documentation, I/O lists, and software revision records
• Support machine startup, FAT, SAT, and onsite commissioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve controls-related issues
Requirements
• 10+ years of industrial controls programming experience
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
• HMI development and operator interface design
• Machine automation, motion control, and safety systems
• Industrial communication protocols – Ethernet/IP and Profinet
• Experience working in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environment
Preferred Skills
• Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation – ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View
• Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and WinCC
• Servo motion control, VFDs, and machine safety systems
• Plastics extrusion or converting equipment experience
• FAT, SAT, machine startup, and customer-site commissioning
