About the Role We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is a long-term contract-to-hire position requiring 13+ years of experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement enterprise DevOps platforms • Lead enterprise DevOps or Platform Engineering initiatives • Manage AWS and/or Azure cloud engineering • Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation • Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions • Create scalable self-service Platform Engineering solutions • Manage Terraform, configuration management, and deployment automation • Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and secrets management • Develop observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems • Apply SRE principles, SLAs, SLOs, and reliability engineering • Create reusable templates, golden paths, and engineering standards Requirements • 12+ years of Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering • 7+ years designing and implementing enterprise DevOps platforms • 5+ years leading enterprise DevOps or Platform Engineering initiatives • Strong hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud engineering experience • Strong Kubernetes or OpenShift architecture and implementation experience • Enterprise-level CI/CD pipeline design and automation expertise • Strong Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation experience • Experience building scalable self-service Platform Engineering solutions • Strong Terraform, configuration management, and deployment automation experience • DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and policy enforcement experience • Strong observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracing experience • Experience with SRE principles, SLAs, SLOs, and reliability engineering • Strong cloud architecture, platform modernization, and governance experience • Experience creating reusable templates, golden paths, and engineering standards • Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and enterprise architecture collaboration skills
