About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Engineer, Data Platforms for a leading BioPharma client. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Fabric • Lead and mentor Data Engineering teams • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines • Ensure data governance, quality, and platform reliability • Manage technical delivery and external implementation vendors Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform Architecture • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory • Expertise in PySpark, Python, and T-SQL • Experience implementing enterprise-scale Medallion Architecture • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience leading and mentoring Data Engineering teams • Experience with data governance, data quality, and platform reliability Preferred Qualifications • BioPharma / Life Sciences industry experience • Knowledge of GxP, GMP, and regulated data environments • Experience integrating Veeva, LIMS, ELN, CTMS, and ERP systems • Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering Certification
