About the Role Cogent Infotech is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a long-term engagement supporting a leading passenger railroad organization. This role requires strong expertise in Agile, SAFe, Cloud Operations, and ITSM. Key Responsibilities • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap • Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria • Champion Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) • Track product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement • Support cloud-focused teams and initiatives across Cloud Operations and ITSM Requirements • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent • SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager certification OR 3+ years of scaled Agile product ownership experience • Experience working with cloud-focused teams or Cloud Operations • Hands-on experience with Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, or similar tools • Strong understanding of Agile principles, SAFe, backlog management, and roadmap development • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and prioritization skills • Preferred: ITIL certification and demonstrated ITSM experience
