About the Role We are seeking a Product Owner with expertise in Google Cloud and AI technologies to join our team at GFT Technologies, a DoD Defense Contractor. This is a 1+ year contract role requiring frequent client-site visits. Key Responsibilities • Own and prioritize the program-level product backlog • Build reusable software platforms for multiple clients • Coordinate multiple delivery workstreams • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and multi-persona workflows • Develop and implement KPI frameworks Requirements • 5–8+ years of Product Owner / Product Management experience • Mandatory expertise in Google Cloud • Required government experience (DoD, Navy, Federal, or other government projects) • Strong program-level product backlog ownership and prioritization skills • Experience building reusable software platforms • Expertise in discovery, requirements gathering, multi-persona workflows, and KPI frameworks • Exposure to Agentic AI, AI agents, or RAG pipelines is a plus Important Note: US Citizens only. Candidates must be located near Norfolk, VA and available for frequent onsite visits, especially during the first 1–2 months.
