About the Role Amergis is seeking experienced ProFee Coders for a remote, paid-per-chart opportunity. This role requires multi-specialty coding expertise and flexibility in scheduling. Key Responsibilities • Perform ProFee coding in multiple medical specialties • Work with Hospitalist coding, E/M, and edits work queue • Abstract medical records according to MEAT criteria • Utilize Epic and 3M systems for coding tasks Requirements • Multi-specialty ProFee coding experience in 2–3 specialties including OBGYN, Cardiology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Urology, or Orthopedics • Experience with Hospitalist coding, E/M, and edits work queue • Strong understanding of MEAT criteria and medical record abstracting • Experience working in a teaching hospital environment • Experience with Epic and 3M systems • Active AHIMA or AAPC certification for at least 2 years • Drug screening required Benefits • Paid-per-chart compensation • Weekly pay • Equipment provided • 100% remote opportunity
