About the Role We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing scalable backend applications and microservices using Python. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable backend applications and microservices using Core Python and OOP principles • Build high-performance REST APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, and asynchronous processing • Apply strong Python fundamentals, DSA, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques • Develop network provisioning, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure automation workflows • Implement retry mechanisms, timeout handling, idempotency, rollback strategies, and fault tolerance • Integrate applications with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, SQL databases, and messaging platforms • Build event-driven services using Kafka and distributed system patterns • Develop unit, integration, and API automation tests using Pytest • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and Docker • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance and reliability Requirements • Strong hands-on experience in Python backend development • Experience with Core Python, OOP, DSA, Multithreading, Multiprocessing, AsyncIO • Knowledge of FastAPI, REST APIs, Pydantic, Microservices • Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake • Understanding of Kafka, Event-Driven Architecture, Retry Mechanisms, Idempotency, Fault Tolerance • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, CI/CD • Experience with Pytest, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Mocking • Domain knowledge in Enterprise Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Network Automation, Backend Platform Engineering
