About the Role Our client is seeking a versatile Software Engineer to join its Data Platform Enablement team. This team supports engineering organizations focused on search, recommendations, personalization, and machine learning by building reusable platform capabilities that enable reliable data movement, platform integrations, and engineering productivity at scale. Key Responsibilities • Develop shared tools, services, APIs, automation frameworks, and cross-cloud data movement solutions • Build reusable platform capabilities for reliable data movement and platform integrations • Support engineering organizations focused on search, recommendations, personalization, and machine learning • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to implement scalable solutions Requirements • 3-5+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or data engineering experience • Strong Python development experience building production-quality applications and reusable components • Experience building and supporting REST APIs, preferably with FastAPI • Experience working with Spark, PySpark, or other distributed data processing technologies • Understanding of data integration, data movement patterns, and distributed systems • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP or Azure preferred) • Familiarity with APIs, messaging systems, cloud services, and platform tooling • Experience writing unit, integration, and regression tests • Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD practices • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States and reside within the U.S.
