About the Role We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves developing and maintaining software applications, risk systems, and market data feeds for financial/brokerage systems. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, support, and maintain software applications, risk systems, and market data feeds • Develop solutions using Python, SQL, C#/.NET, IBM MQ, AWS/Azure • Work closely with Business Users, BAs, Project Managers, Infrastructure, DBA, and application teams • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance • Participate in system architecture, application design, and development • Support multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines Requirements • 5–7 years of professional software development experience • Strong Python programming skills • Strong SQL development and query optimization experience • Experience with Brokerage / Capital Markets / Financial Services applications • Experience with Front, Middle, and Back Office solutions • Strong knowledge of algorithms, software development methodologies, and architecture • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
