About the Role We are looking for a Python Developer to join our team at McKesson. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based applications and backend services. Key Responsibilities • Develop, test and maintain Python-based applications and backend services • Build REST APIs and integrate applications with databases and external systems • Work with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI • Write clean, reusable and efficient code following best practices • Work with SQL databases, debugging, performance optimization and unit testing • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting and application enhancements Requirements • 4–6 years of experience with Python • Experience with Django, Flask or FastAPI • Strong understanding of REST APIs and SQL databases • Proficiency in Git and debugging • Knowledge of software development best practices
